Batt life to me on normal usage is about 2 days. As for putting into the MicroSD card in the phone, just mount the phone with the supplied USB cable and drag the MP3 songs in. My only complaint on the L7 is the iTap, which is not as good a the T9.

BATTERY LIFE (L7 with BC60)

I noticed a bunch of people asking questions about battery life. Personally I have not experienced very good battery life. I used mine for one full day after a complete charge, and left it turned on over night. When I woke in the morning it was down to one bar of battery. Basically this means i should have charged it over night. With my older phone, i would charge it once every 2-3 days with the same amount of use. Im hoping the battery life improves after a few uses.

Lol, and actually, I just noticed I didn't realise you said you don't like the idea of deleting off the sim, so my help isn't really helpful! (It's early in the morning here for me, sorry).

But hopefully it may be useful to someone...you never know. But why have them on the SIM anyways if you can sync via PC?

Best wishes!

JF,

There must be a reason why yours isn't letting you snooze the alarm clock. I use mine everyday as an alarm clock and when the alarm comes up, one softkey says snooze and one says disable...so, you should be able to get a snooze feature. What branding is it, as maybe this is the difference (mine is unbranded).

And, as for the SIM card/phone phonebook entry problem, maybe this might be useful: if you go to your contact list and then press the middle top key you'll get the phonebook menu. Head to the bottom of that list and you'll see the option "copy." Select it and then select "entries." You will get a screen that gives "entries" (where you can select exactly which contact you want to work with and then "to" (where you can select whether you would like to add a copy to the phone or to the SIM card. Then it's just a matter of going back and deleting the original entry after you make the copy :) Again, this may or may not work depending on how the company you're using has decided to brand the phone...but I figured might as well share just in case! :)

I just got a L7, and damn it is sexy, But... There is always a "BUT"... When I send text messages it deletes the person i send it to from my phone book... sort of, the number is still there when i sync it with my computer, but does not appear in the phonebook on the phone. (If I try re adding the person/number it simply says duplicate entry and neither shows up.)

my software version is:R4513_G_08.B7.DBR_RB

Any one else have similar problems...

Excellent phone, faster than my previous nokia 6680. Only negative part is I constantly have to check in which pocket I left it. White color would be even cooler. Speaker is very loud.

Battery for L7 and L6 are CB-50 which due to slim-ness has got less standby and talk time, while Motorola new mobile C 261 has got much better battery CB-60 double time as campare to these two, Motorla should consisder this point. Another think is back cover and battery grip is not perfect in L7 and L6 while C261 a low end mobile has no such problem.

I have had this phone for a few days now and while I like the design of the phone, there are several things I don't like about it.

Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Screen (though
there are obviously better ones out there)

Cons: Low Volume on ear speaker and Speaker-phone (this is my main complaint) overall call quality is not as good as my old phone either

GUI design and features arent as good as Nokia or Sony Ericsson

battery life should be much longer (only lasts about 3 days, my 2 year old nokia can do the same)

A few things that may not be as important (but are to me), Alarm Clock does not have snooze, Calender not as useful as others, phonebook shows both sim contacts and phone contacts with no option to change this...this is important because to have voicedial or personalized ringers you must have the entry stored on your phone, which means deleting the entry from he sim, or having repeat entries in the phonebook (one on sim, one on phone).

Would I Buy this phone again? Probably Not mainly because of the volume of the calls, everything else is relatively minor.

To the person who asked about listening to the mp3 player for 24 hours. I very very much doubt it. Maybe 4-8 hours at the most. Not got this phone, but thats how long my previous phone with an mp3 player lasted when i was listening to it
