Wow!... slr L7 is the motorazr in bar shape phone but so unlucky it it not a 3G phone, it is a new standard of new generation mobile phone in term of design creativity. Hoping near the future moto will release 3G for L siries. And also it should wide range of colour, if moto wanna be numero uno again.

          Hi

I'm interested in getting a new phone and am looking at the SLVR. Are there any known firmware problems/hardware defects?

Also, I used to have a RAZR, and I really didn't like it. It was slow and the design was played out. Is the processing speed faster than on the RAZR? (meaning, does access to menus come up faster?)

          Thanks

Does the mobile suite for the transfering of files between this handphone and the computer supports Win 98se. This looks like a nice phone but I'll give it a miss if the moblie suite does not support win 98se.

Do you know if the accessories (headset, car charger) on the usb for the RAZR v3 are compatible with this SLVR L7?

I have an L7 on order and in the mail. Please, can anyone tell me:
                    1. if a non-wireless headset can be used for this phone?
                    2. Where is the jacks for the headset?
                    3. Where is the jack for the charger? Is it same as the USB data jack?
                    4. Are the RAZR v3 car charger and wired headsets that I see in online stores compatible with this SLVR L7?
                    Thanks for any help!

                              Rhi,

The phone does come in silver, but it seems to only be available on Vodafone at the moment. If you don't mind Vodafone but don't want a monthly contract w/them, you can pick one up on Ebay quite easily.

well done!! i know its a pain, its the way the software was written, we have to wait until another revision of the software. shouldnt be long until we get another version. you see that was a german retail one. thier should be a European and a t-cirucalr one with itunes. its a waitting game

Good news is I managed to get it debranded. But I was wondering how you set the 'Exit' and 'Select' buttons back to where they were before. Its just that it seems the Exit button is now the left soft key and the Select button is the right soft key?

                                  Thanks for any help

yeah you have to move your mp3s to the Phones memory for them to work as a ring tone. that is only because if you remove the card thier will be on ringtones set!!

If I want to get the L7 debranded, but I want to know does it play MP3 as ringtones outright from the T-flash memory card?? Or you have to move to the phone memory first then you could use MP3 as ringtones like the old E398, V635 etc. Than I might get the V3i, but my question the same as the L7 for the V3i as I mentioned above? Could someone here please help me??? Cause this is very important for me as I'am lazy to move each time I want to change my ringtones due to the limited memory. Thanks in advance
