hi 121^123. ok all u would need to do is change your firmware to the latest firmware mean your S/W version on your phone, you would have have to flash your phone with the new version which can be found on the site www.modmymoto.com. All you have to do is search for it. The guys from the forum can assist u with Any Questions concerning yur mobile. Only a certain limit that i can explain to u. Sorry.

I wasnt too impressed with this phone when i got it, the design was nice but i thought the camera was terrible, even when compared to other VGA'S. So i gave it to my nan, and she likes it, so its rather a marmite phone if you get what i mean. However, a problem that she is having is that every now and then, when she turns it on, it comes up with invalid battery, but will work normal, however, it wont charge up unless she gets rid of the invalid battery message on the home screen, and the only way she can do this is to take the battery out and put it back in again. The battery cover is very hard to remove on the slvr, especially for someone with age, and i was wondering if neone else has had a similar problem and have they managed to resolve it without having to take the battery out?

hey!! I got this phone a year ago..it's fantastic.. I just got 1gb memory card and while it's great, music sounds great, you can listen to it without earphones it's very loud.. The only problem is my card won't stay in position. Thr drawer for the card keeps opening. Does anyone know how to solve this problem, mine solution is, little to say, silly. Thank you!!

Hey jignesh, sorry but it's not likely that these phones can use themes than what comes with the phone, but can apply skins to modify the icons and backgrounds on your phone, which i must say is real cool. You can get these skins on www.modmymoto.com or www.motomodders.com, but u must sign up in order to receive the free downloads, to install the skins, download the software called skins manager(ski man) in the downloads catergory. Enjoy ; )

Hey tesh. Unfortunately for the motorola phones, the folders are not able to lock. You can only place a lock on your multimedia only, it prevents anyone from accessing your music, videos, and pictures.

Hey larry u can install the games on your phone memory card using a data cable, all you would need to do is to drag the jar or jad file to your kjava folder. Then you would need to safely remove the device, and go to games and applications on the memory card, to the bottom, you would see NEW APPS, select it, you would see the apps and games. select the item and install. Enjoy ; )

For Ricky: You can set any tone you like, only if you move or copy it to phone´s memory. If it´s stored in the micro SD card you can´t use the tone as ringtone or message alarm. I just bought this cell phone and i hope it to arrive tomorrow to enjoy it, it´s the version with iTunes. :D

The SLVR L7 is a very nice sleek phone for phone purposes and music only. The camera and video camera suck compared to Nokia N70 (and that's an old model). If you just want to use it to make calls & listen to music you're fine.

hi,
when i connect my phone to the Pc using the usb cable, whenever i want to transfer videos to my phone it never actually shows up on the phone.

Because, i normally use the phone tools software to transfer my videos onto the phone but it takes a long time and you can only tranfer things less than 6mb.

so, instead i tranfered a video on my memory card using the pc by copying the video into the 'video' folder, but when i look on my phone, the video is not there. Why is this happening? Are the video files not compatable with this phone, becuase most the videos are wmv files.

And, is there a way to have a password set on your video/picture/sound folder so no-one can look at anything in the folder????

Can anybody help me???

Thanks in advanced!!!

Its not likely that u can get thems for ur phone, but u can apply skins to the phone, u can receive these skins on the site wwww.modmymoto.com. If u want to install the cool skins, download the application Skins Manager (skiman). U can use it to apply the skins, it can be found in the download section. Enjoy. ; )
