I think the phone is nice for the price. However, the sound is not that good. I do not know if the phone that I got is just defective or what. The sound quality when playing some MP3 sounds like not a stereo. It sounds more of a mono.

I have called Motorola tech support and they said that SLVR L7 supports up to 1Gig of transflash. The thing is, there are transflash that are not compatible with SLVR L7 so if your planning of buying a transflash have it be tested with your L7 before you buy it. Here in the Philippines I have tested the Kingston transflash brand to be not compatible as the local store where I got the memory said that they had similar incident where the client had it exchanged for another brand (PQI)and I was the second one who had the same problem. PQI works fine. I have read from other forum also that SanDisk brand also works fine with SLVR L7.

at motorola site it says 512 mb.. but here up to 1gigs

Now,for themes,,you need to download the themes from the internet ,rather GPRS from the mobile phone itself,,,,what i do is,,go on the website take the coad and then download it staright to my phone.
go to http://www.mobile9.com and go to themes,,get the download code from there.
then on to your mobile phone and go to wap.mobile9.com,,,and put the code in the field given there,,,,,here we go ,,,the theme or the wallpaper or ringtone or the game is straight on your mobile phone,
And about the length of the Video,,maximum that we can do is ...the mere the free memory you have on your mobile the more length you get for the video,,,however i dont think the length for the video exceeds above 2 mins...

There are two ways tow listen to all the songs back to back...
1}Once you have loaded the phone with all the songs ,go to the digital music player in the applications and then select the songs option on it...here we go all songs played back to back.....All the the music including those in the phome memory and the card memory will be played.However there is a problem with this,,,you cant toggle with any other applications,and if u recieve a call or a sms then the application stops and then you have to start the appliction again.
2}In your multimedia player where you have sotred all your songs,,two places above the first songs you'll find an option called PLAYLIST,,select that,here you can select the songs that you want to listen a secquence of your wish and make more than one play list,,,also you can name the playlist accordingly...Best part you can select other applications ,and if there is any call or a sms just read the sms or end the call and the song starts from where it was stoped,,,,

You don't need any software to upload ringtones or pictures to your phone.
One thing that makes this phone great is that you can download pictures and video that you take right to your computer, so instead of emailing the pictures to yourself just hook it up to your computer and it pops up as a flash drive in My Computer. I repeat YOU DO NOT NEED SOFTWARE for this phone! This is why I chose this phone over the RAZR.
If you are having a hard time accessing your phone and iTunes keeps popping up just disable iTunes from automatically starting when a device is attatched and that should solve your problem.
I have done amazing things with this phone, it comes with an adapter so you can hook up your phone to normal headphones which I actually took advantage of and bought a wireless FM car transmitter so I can listen to my iTunes in my car.
I have made custom mp3s and uploaded them to my phone as a ringtone, things you can't even download from any site to use as a ringtone.
If your looking for a phone that you can access and customize this is the phone for you.
In order to make an MP3 that you upload a ringtone you must upload it to the audio folder on your phone. Then, on your phone, go to sounds and move the sound file from the card to the phone and then you can apply it as a ringtone.
I haven't tried to upload video to my phone yet but I'm sure you can, I can get the video files off of my phone and put them on my computer and watch them with real player. I've also seen converters to convert movie files to .3g2 and other cellphone video files.
The only complaint I have about this phone is that I like my music loud and the USB factory headphones they supply don't seem loud enough to me, definitely not as loud as a normal iPod but then again this is a phone.

Hi, I just bought this fone last november, I don't have any problems at all with this fone, except for the memori of the SMS, 'coz I've got a lot of SMS that I have to keep as a record. so everytime I must delete the old messege, which still needed.
Do you guys know how to fix it, or it's simply as it is?
please... please help... thx before
