I got my motorola a couple of weeks ago & so far I'm very satisfied with this phones abilities!
It's slim, which makes it fit anywhere.
The sound is very good & much clearer & louder than my old LG phone.
The picture quality might not be perfect, but I don't need the camera much, except for keeping memories while my digital camera is not around, and the photos are good.
One thing i still couldn't solve is, when i look for a phone number, i have to go through all the numbers & I can't seem to find a "search" button anywhere, any help?
which one is the best:
ROKR E1 or SLVR L7??
i was decided to buy the rokr but then i realized that a slim phone would be very good for me, because i often put my phone into my jeans' pocket.
otherwise, lots of people say that rokr's camera and battery life are much better.
i'm really in trouble!
with no problem...it's the best...I love it so much...
i have just got this phone for my dad, it was on the orange network but i have unlocked it. the problem is that orange have installed a menu on the left of the screen that i cannot remove......
can anyone help?
I've had my l7 for like 7 mounths now. i still love it. and the only two things i dislike are the battery life and poor camera. also i have droped it like 60 times and still works great....
I would strongly recommend not buying this phone. You will get fed up with it in just a few months. Besides the fact that it lacks themes, wallpapers, decent games, and anything else that is necessary for a decent cell phone, it has nothing revolutionary. The only plus about it would be the slimness. I've had mine for four months and already want to smash it to pieces. Occasionally it will restart itself for no reason. It has lots of lag problems when loading pictures, music, etc., and the menu is not user friendly. The camera itself is a very poor quality and crops the picture when you zoom, making for horribly small pictures. The video quality is not even viewable. I strongly suggest to avoid any Motorola and get a decent Nokia or Sony Ericsson.
has any one seen the pink Slvr L7? if u have pleaseeeeeeeee let me know......i need it.
I have brand new Motorola L7.There r 2 problems with it. 1> Sometimes it has no response to accessing the function and it says:Plz Wait. then it needs to be swtiched off and behaves normal after switched on thereafter. 2>while the incoming call is in progress it loses the network and the homes screen. After few seconds it restores itself.
More on sms delivery reports, I just discovered that you can Save a blank Draft sms that has the delivery report request switched on. Then you can just edit the draft to insert your message and it's ready to go. It may save a little time when you are out and about, not sure cos I haven't tried myself yet.
For sms delivery report, try clicking the Menu button once you have typed your message, then click on Message Options. If your handset's software has delivery reports, you should be able to switch it on there. Unfortunately, it is defaulted to Off and has to be activated separately for each sms.
I have it, Unfortunately It has no message report (like e398 series), so we can't know if the message sent or not...
Can you please send the windows 2000/XP drivers for the L6 to me, too: email@example.com
Thanks in advance
its really a very good phone with less price containing almost all features that a fantastic cell phone can have!
Anybody can tell me what's the phone limit for storing SMS messages?
Okay I got all the way to number 5 but then I don't understand how you add it to your phone without just re-adding it under your iTunes..and that doesn't help make it a ringtone..so what am I not understanding??
Okay for those wanting to use iTunes as an mp3 ringtone:
"I figured it out. Here are the steps.
How to make a SLVR mp3 ringtone using iTunes:
1. Create a ringtone specific playlist, and drag the songs you want to the list.
2. Go to the playlist, highlight a song, and navigate to "Get Info"
3. Click "Options" adjust start and stop times.
4. Go to iTunes Preferences > Advanced > Importing
Settings- Import Using: mp3 encoder
Setting: Custom (32kbps mono, 22.050 khz, mono, optimized)
5. Playlist > select all > right click convert selection to mp3.
6. Add to your phone via Bluetooth or USB
This is the first way I got it to work without any special software. I'm sure the settings can be manipulated for better quality or smaller files size."
