If you compare motorola phones with any other you will find that motorola menu is unique, no other brand provide such a level of customisation. You can block certain items from viewing using lock application, customise menu, create shortcuts not just limited to up/ down/ left/ right 0-9 keys infact its upto you. I always like to customise things the way I like not what vendor provided. Its patented mini usb port serve as universal port. I am a embedded professional and will not forget to tell that its USB 1.1 and bluetooth is also 1.2 while others provide USB 2.0 and bluetooth 2.0 other than that if you face any problem than its piece problem, you must trust that global leader want to gain your faith not to betray its users. Again you must remember that motorola is innovates and others follows. They are trying hard on linux, Nokia - Symbian, Samsung and others - Win CE. They will create a maket for linux lovers.

        Hi,
I bought this mobile almost a month back. But I never find a problem with any feature of this mobile. Reviewers say that its slow but if you compare it with any Nokia phone its lot faster. As far a camera is concerned, please dont shake your hand whilt taking picture, Instead of viewing it on mobile download it to PC again you will find its look better on PC monitor. In bulk production not every piece is tested for every feature and way its transpoted may also affect please buy your mobile from authorised dealer. And if you find problem than motorola are very good in there customer services they will replace your piece. I had a problem with my Motorola bluetooth headset H500 they replaced it with new one now its fine.

I meant the mp3 that I already have on my computer.

Can someone help me, is it possible to set an mp3 as a ringtone? If I read the manual correctly, this is not possible right, if it is, please explain? Thanks!

Hi Mike, i totally agree with u on volume. sometimes it is so hard to hear the receiving party even when i have to volume to the max. i hope motorola will have a software update solely on the volume.

I'm returning this phone to where we bought it tomorrow. I'm simply not content with it.

A: More than half the people I've talked with say they cannot hear me. I have played around with the volume controls to get the perfect clarity for that single call, but another caller will say that he/she can't hear me now.

B: Slow scrolling. Going through the phonebook on this cell is awful to look at, since the numbers are all scrunched up without hyphens or at least spaces. I have tried to alter that but alas, no option to do so. And the scrolling, again, slow due to the detail that is, personally, unnecessary for my basic needs.

                                      C. I bought this phone and it already came chipped in one area, and the number pad already was a bit loose and squeaked when one pressed the bottom right. Eh...?

This phone is, in my opinion, fancy and nice-looking (I bought it for its looks and because it wasn't a flip-phone), but my old Nokia 6200 is way better. Since this Moto is metal, it is freezing to plop against your cheek--get PLASTIC!

But I won't be all malicious, this phone has its niceties too: Bluetooth, music, games, pictures, and other things I won't ever use but will have to pay for.

If you want a really basic phone, this definitely isn't for you (even though I essentially got this free).
