well this phone looks very cool,i am really confuse about its sound quality does it plays songs as good as nokia6230i???previously i was using nokia6230i and i think there is no other phone like nokia6230i but for a change i am planning to get L7 should i go for it or not??anybody tell me how is the sound quality?

This is 1 month I have this phone. Yes, it is really attractive, robust and slim. The display is brilliant and the sound is clear and loud. Battery life is also good. But let's be honnest...there is nothing inside. For a standard user who wants to call, receive calls and send sms, it is enough. If you expect more, then buy something else.

I would like to istall Agile Messenger on my SLVR L7 to use yahoo messenger and I don't know what operating system is using L7. On Agile Messenger's website is not specified a software for L7. Is anyone who can help me with an advice?

Can anyone help me? What is the supported video formats for this phone? Tried to take a couple of small videos off of my PC, the results were rubbish.

Hey, I'm Nikki and this msg is to person who wants to know if u can only use mp3 ringtones only if they r on phone memory. The answer is: u can use it whether it's on phone memory r on card. I'm in Jamaica and I'v had my L7 since June 17th and I'v had no problems yet. It's like usin a Nokia 6230 but without auto lock for the key pad. I'v always used Nokia products and has strayed a few times, though I still luv Nokia, but this phone really "ROX". Those out there who wanna get it, GO FOR IT MAN...

To me, this is the best,the slimmest phone we ever have, my opion, infuture pls try to make even more slim, can play multiply audio format like ofcouse mp3, acc, wma and much more, plus 3.5mm jack for audio & fm radio.

Motorola could have done better by providing auto keypad lock against manual.

man this sure is one sexy set..other than its sleek solid looks it has other attributes too..unlike nokia fones this set has many downloadable softwares(motorola is paying me to say all this..pleez do urself a fovour and dont buy this phone)

yes u can adjust the vol on the L6 by pressing the left or right directional key. = ) cheers? read ur manual?

Erm.. i think you guys needa learn how to use the phones thoroughly, for 1 the BT-ringtones question, any Motorola set will revert to default tones no matter what u set. furthermore, with regards to the L6 volume, u can only change it while in a call by using the left/right directional keypads. This phone is teh pwnz0r!

hi..i used l6 and it is a great set...only the thing which i dont like is that u cannot
do the volume low and high..inspite of that it is a great set..and now i m planing to buy l7 plz tell me can it have the option to control the volume..plz tell me i anyone knows..and also can it record the call while u listens the phine..thanks......

With my bluetooth headset hooked up and connected, how come it plays Motorola's default ringtone instead of my own ringtone when someone calls?

i think the motorola slvr is absolutely stunning. i recently bought one and have had no problems with it. it is very user friendly and a great quality phone.i love it.

i got this phone and its 'ok'
if ur looking 4 looks than L7 rules but 2 put themes is difficult not impossible i found out a way 2 do that but wasnt possible by this i dont mean that my method was wrong but i think i applied it the wrong way.2 know how jst go 2=google than search for moto moders or type this 'how to get themes on L7 SLVR' i hav already done than and i found certain things to download like
1.RSD LITE any version(search yahoo for this)
2.P2K Tool
3.USB Driver 2.9
4.flash file
5.flex file
u need 2 go through many sites search google
3 hr every day and u might get it.
there is a sites which i forgot 2 take note
of it a flash explanation on step by step way of doing it rite if u get it rite u can
change
1.the speed at which ur menu opens
2.get a missed call list
3.get a sent msg list
4.put themes
5.install games
and totally customise it as in change the software of the phone permantly n maybe make
money

yes u can use mp3 files as ringtones but the file should b in the fone memory!
