how can i install software in slvr l7? anybody tell me. i copy in memory card through cable, but it could not seen where it copy? how can i see what i copy, pls tell me my email address.
i just bought it and i can say overall i am very satisfied as it is my first Motorola after Nokia . Please take into consideration that you have to download a special program that is onlky for SLVR phone in order to transfer files via bluetooth , Also you need to buy the memory card , sound is good , keypad are ok , i believe that youa re going to be satisfied ! !
The keyboard is ridiculous ugly. Put a 2mp camera, more internal memory and redesing this stupid keyboard and would be a perfect phone.
Has a few bugs.... Can't keep the Vibrate & Ring audio setting. It resets to Loud when changing from battery to AC or DC charger and back to battery.
The earphones supplied with the phone will not stay in my ears... or anyone else's ears who try them. So I have to give up the convenience of having a microphone on the earphones in order to have quality sound with earpieces which actually stay in my ears.
There should be a button on the front dedicated to voicemail.
Other than that, the phone works well, the player works well (but only 100 songs at a time).
I have purchased the Motorola SLVR L7. It is a great phone. However, I have one problem. The left soft key, on most motorola phones is normally the 'exit' or 'back' button, and the right is the 'open' or 'continue' button. However, on the phone this is the opposite, and the left soft key is to continue and the right soft key is to go back. Also, if I open some software on the device, this is set to the oposite again, and the same when I recieve a call. Is there any way I can change this?
for "maxo" the sliver that you have sound like is not a Cingular branded mobile is it? The cingular version does not have anything in the manual reffering to the PTT... the ptt is non-accessible from anywhere in the phone only a tech can unlock that feature but again....you cannot use it unless you live in europe where the "standard" that is loaded into this particular phone is actually used... guys we use KODIAKPTT which is the most advance ptt standard...so again is not that were in the USA are behind by no means is just another type of technology that works best for our territory... remember the GSM thing europe uses 900/1800mhz well we don't use those because we had assigned those frequenzy to the EMERGENCY vehiacles way before europe had these cell phones band so that is why we now use 850/1900mhz only because WE HAD TO plus on the bright side the 850mhz band works alot better in penetrating buildings...just FYI just ask TMOBILE they are now making all their mobile have 850/1900 VS. their previous 900/1900 combination... :)
nice phone but I have a question or 2.. maybe someone can help me.how do u set a mp3 saved on your memory card as ringtone without having to copy it to the phone???
Why do I still get message full while I have deleted every sms I got????
hey...does anyone know how to get itunes for the slvr l7? mine doesn't come with it
I have bought L7. All are fine with L7 fucntions, but one weak function is that a MP3 song set as ring tone shouldn't be saved and stored in the phone as bult-in memory is not that big. In stead, it should link to read from storage card for a ring tone ringing.
Fair enough a very sleek design however the fuctions of this phone is rubbish. i had this phone and within an hour i got board. please listen avoid this PHONE MOTOROLA SLVR L7!!!!!!!!!
wow! this phone really looks good!! i do want it.. very much!! sadly.. i have to wait till the start of classes so that i can save money to buy this. :(

It is difficult to export/import contacts from nokia.

If you have good nokia keep it.
