For some reason my l7 keeps freezing and white screening on me. I just got this phone a few days ago and im certainly not liking it so far. Apart from that the phone is great, is there by any chance you can chnage or upload skins onto this phone?? Also is there an update or something to fix the phone from freezing on me

Do you figure out how to download the customize skin/theme for Ketan yet? If yes, could you please inform me the way to download customize ringtone into L7? I have find the song that I want to use as ringtone but don't know how to download it to my phone. Please advice. Thanks for your help.

hi ketan, y not u send me 1 skin/themes n i try to load it, if sucessful, then i can explain to you how to load it. i never did go look for extra skin/themes. as for sending pics, video n ringtone, what do you mean? to the pc? to other hp?

Does any 1 knows how to download new skins\themes on motoSLVR L7.I have many skins\themes but i do not know how to download them(all are in .zip format).If you help me i will send you all skins\themes i have for free.

helo vicki, the amt of memory in the L7 is only 6MB, so i believe it only can acomodate 1 mp3, tats why it says insufficient memory. Mp3s stored in your tranflash, a.k.a micro sd CANT be used as your ringtone. only ringtone n mp3s stored in your internal memory can be used as sms/ringtone alert. try cropping the mp3 into 20seconds segment to used as your ringtone, but that is provided you got the motorola phone tools cd.......

I have a unlocked L7 for Tmobile. I inputed all my MP3 songs into. But I'm trying to set it as a ring tone. I one can set one ring tone from my mp3 list? I wanted to set at least three more , but it just keep giving me an error message saying insuffient storage? What does that mean?

i have an unlocked slvr for tmobile...figured out the ring tones, the crazy symbols related to voicemail...but I keep getting a "Unable to Download Message" report every time someone texts me.
please help? many thanks in advance!

well, i really dun know what to say as i never experience it b4, maybe the t-mobile guy could be rite. as long as ur r not being charge, that is a plus. Sorry, couldnt help you out in this present problem. (",)

i would get a text message from "_@" or a small antenna and a @ symbol. but no actual text message. the tmobile rep told me that the L7 voicemail system is not compatible with theirs. so instead of a voicemail alert i get a "text message" with nothing on it but the two smbols above. update....i check my text message billing online and i do not see that i am getting charge....thats a plus. what do u think. i hope my explanaton was sufficient.

You can go to the settings tab and go under security and lock application and you can choose to lock the "messaging" section of the phone.

edge has been eliminated from the upcoming motorola phones because on trial edge was proven to be unstable with moto's operating system. Maybe part of the reason why motorola is lauching all their upcoming models with a whole new OS. That's why edge was dropped. (its actually in the phone i believe but is switched off)

the phone does come with a 512mb card in the package along with the usb cable and the stereo headset along with the 2.5 headphone adapter which will enable you to use your own headphone with this cellphone.

can anyone tell me if/how i can lock my messages from other people reading them??? on the menu it says 'lock' and 'unlock' but this doen't seem to do anything, plz help asap xxxxx thank u x

I'm not sure whats happening with the phones weight and EDGE in the review it says it's 85g and has EDGE class 10 although in the specs it says its 96g and has no edge can anybody clear this up for me? I'd also like to know if anyone that has this fone has put a 1 gig card in it and does it work? Thanx
