Anonymous, 02 Mar 2010I just found one of these at an op shop but can anyone help as the battery has been taken out ... moreThis phone uses propietary battery (it was possible to find aftermarked, made by Sanyo) - it is longer than AAA, NiMH, 1.2V.
I just found one of these at an op shop but can anyone help as the battery has been taken out and I don't know what type fits it? I did try aaa and aa batteries but they don't fit. Any help would be appreciated :-)
By far one of my favoutite ever phones, rivaled every phone on the market at the time and every one wanted one, now off to ebay to see if I can buy myself one
I used to use this phone, and I recently found a pair of them in my closet. I charged one of them up and it STILL WORKS. I'm going to see if I can get service re-established for it so I can use it as my everyday phone.
If you still hav this fone,go to the nearest bank and they change it for a good price..or keep it maybe someday it'll worth a million,,,Vintage!
I still have this phone and I`m just buying charger for that to use it:-)
I had one of these phones, i often use it. Its funkyx and fresh design and it takes not much space as my other old phones that i use.
I often get bullied because of this phone, but i love this phone, and i wont stop use it!
same thing as u, i had this phone when i had 11, now i`m 15... :D in 2003, it was a wonder to me...:P
OMG THATS MY FIRST PHONE...
Now its 7 years old and still works... my grandfather uses it :)
I can say only good things about it. I loved its games, too.
And... WOW HOW DURABLE IT IS! One car smashed it and only broke its glass. In dangerous situation it can be used as a very dangerous weapon!
I had this phone when I was 11 and I loved it. Im seventeen now and have had many better phones but I will always remember this one. it was sound!
I've just downloaded the manual off Motorola's website and discovered the Quick Access function after 8 years of ownership. Hurray! As they say in the computing industry -RTFM!
-Read The F****** Manual. mp
I think I've had mine since about 1998. It's worked fine ever since.
What I like is it's simplicity-I just want to use it as a phone and to send and receive text msgs.
My only gripe is I wish I could reprogram the menus the way I want them. I have had to replace the battery a couple of times otherwise no problems at all. I wonder if the industry still produces a mobile that just functions as a phone or is that too weird/fuddy-duddy? MP.
