I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago and if you want a relatively inexpensive phone with all the bells & whistles (bluetooth, expandable memory, etc) then i would give it a go. I am yet to have any problems with it and i highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new phone.
P.S to connect it to your PC simply use a mini-usb cable (used for digital cameras) and bob's your uncle!
does this phone lag at all when typing sms(fast typing)?
i used to have a motorola e365(ithink) and it used to lag alot when typing fast.. could never keep up with me.
hey how does a bluetooth headset go with this
this fone is excellent!!!! i think it has an excellent price (its gone from $400-$99!!!) and it only came out last year!!!! thats amazing!!!! But theres one thing i need 2 know is the battery life good or does it get drained out easily also does it have loud ringtones cos i may buy this phone! My dad used to have a motorola several years ago becuase he said its slow at texting and ringing but that was in 1999-2001 and in 2006 phones, tv's, cars you name it, are much better than 7 years ago one more thing is it better than a sony ericsson z300i? Any ways i like this phone much better it has a camera and all
well thats the end of my comment byebye!
is there any sites to get free downloads onto this phone through usb cable. from james
The Motorola V360 tops the V3 (RAZR) undoubtably. It has everything you need except an FM radio and infra-red, the only downside is that it looks a little cheap, but hey it's whats on the inside that counts. And for $99 (AUD) with Telstra, its cheaper than most phones that have less features. I want it bad!!
i have a motorola v360v but it has exactly the same features as this model and it is excellent i have just got a 256mb memory card...but what i want to know is where do i get the usb cable to connect it to my p.c?
If you want to edit any mp3's from your computer (ie. cutting out bits, fading in and out, changing bit rate and tempo, etc.) download Audacity for free from audacity.sourceforge.net
It is the simplist tool ever!
A good phone... although it has some software problems ... my phone has... I can't remove the baterry beep ( u know.. when the baterry is low there is a warning beep) and also somnetimes when i try to make a call the screen goes white and the software resets itself. I think that this is related with the software version .. witch I can't upgrade because I will lose my warranty :((
im using the v360 and i accidently deleted all my games and applications. is there any way of getting them back
You must move the MP3 tone from your memory card over to the phone memory to be able to apply it as a ringtone, you can not apply tones in you memory card as ringtones. As for the PTT, go to your settings icon open and scroll down to the botton that is where you have settings for PTT.
im tjinking of buying this phone is it good?. is it worth its price? cuz i think it is
I had this phone for months and i liked it. i just bought a v3x not long ago and im already sick of it
I'm in love with v360 ! It'a amazing ! Motorola rules again !
hi. does v360 comes with the memory card transflash ??
Absolute Bargin (Au$149 in Australia).
Most Under-rated phone in the current Motorola line up.
Unless you're a slave to fashion or money's not an issue, this is the best phone of the Motorola range.
Why pay so much extra for the slimness of the SLVR/V3i or the rocky U6 when the V360 has all the same specifications (well except the megapixel camera of V3i). Build quality is also top notch, put to shame my creaky V3x: completely rock solid and not a creak to be heard. Having brought one, would use it instead of my 3G V3x.
Screen is unbeatable at this price, much better than the older V3. Also a memory card slot. Only blemish is the mono audio output thru headphones, shame as the output jack is the standard 2.5mm; so could have used my good pair of headphones if it were stereo.
I have succesfully transferred photo's to a Nokia via bluetooth...
The problem is I have is that I have copied a mp3 to the memory card, but can't set it as mp3.There is nou "sounds" menu in my Games&apps menu...and I can't find any other place to switch to "trans" device...I bought the phone in South Africa, is the phone not the same worldwide?
Can any of you other aussies direct me to places that have the accessories and good prices on memory cards?
To cut down the size of the mp3`s try Power MP3 Cutter Joiner and get it to 64 kbps. The quality is pretty good and the mp3 has a lower size
Very good phone.. i paid 100$ and i got hands free and a 64 MB memory card. its a smart phone but can someone tell me how to set an .mp3 from the MMC to be ring tone? i only can set .mp3 from phones memory to be ring tone :(
