Motorola V600 - user opinions and reviews

I have been considering this phone for some time now, and after playing with it a couple of times at the shops, I am kinda sold on it. However, now that I have read the complaints about the V600 being of poorer quality than the V500/525, I am concerned. Also, there is a report that the newer V600s have corrected this issue. Is this true and how do I know if the one I am buying is the "new" V600?

Great phone, lot's of possibilities.
Camera works great, up to 640x480.
Only problem: chrome is coming off on the lid. Apperently a common problem.

I have had this phone about 4 week. I can say that i am very happy with the purchase. Only issue i have is that it doesnt have infra-red and so i cant syhc with my laptop at this stage (unless of course i use the supplied cable) John T (Aust)

does anyone know what software i need to use for installing java games from my pc to my v600 (via bluetooth). can this be done with the suplied software (phone edit 2.0), or do i need some other application installer programme?

from the feb 2004 the V600 made with sharp display the older have other display lower quality than V500/V525

I got a ringtone that says the words from the song on the phone i just got mine of real tones on my vodafone live page

i think this phone is overpriced... It is more expensive than Nokia 6230 and Samsung E700A. But the 6230 have more features.

I have motorola V300, i like this phone but I love the motorola V600 but I'm with tmobile and T-mobile don't carry this model.
