How many minutes of video can I record with 2Mb, cause I think it has a low memory for this "super phone". But in spite of the low memory I think it has great and usefull caracteristics.
Damn this phone oozes quality. In a world full of creeking plastic crap and pointless gimmicks the V620 is like a brath of fresh air. Okay, so it doesn't have masses of memory, but at £159 from The Carphone Warehouse I can save enough to buy an MP3 player as well. I'd swop all your gimmicky cameras and stupid flashing lights for a well made, solid and classy phone, but now I can have that and the gimmicks too!
It's not for pre-puberty phone kiddies, it's a real phone for real people, and moan all you want about the external aerial, I at least now get a signal in places where my GX20, TM100, GX30, 6230 and more have failed to get one.
For those who value substance over marketing, this is one of the finest phones around IMHO.
Hi, I am thinking of getting this phone.read the reviews and seems like most of ppl are concerned abt d 5mb memory. i would like to ask how many MP3 ringtones can you download on this phone and how many pics can u save to use as photo call? thanks
i had the motorola v220 i had some trouble with the keyboard light but i up graded to the motorola v620 it's fantastic thank's to the car phone warehouse at the mansfield retail park
can someone pleez help me!!! i just bought the motorola v620 and it seems 2 be pretty cool, but i also bought the usb cable that comes with a cd, how do i download things on my phone??? Also, how do i put voicemail on my fone? Where do i get ringtones for my fone? i live in the US and i have Cingular. PLEEZ HELP!!! it wouuld be really apreciated!!! thanx!!
To joe.at.hotmail.com-you're probably moving the pictures, not copying them...you see, motorola uses the term "copy" to refer to sending files to other devices through bluetooth...if you hit move, then the file is moved and erased on your memory.
everyone who is considering buying this fone should look at the e1000 before buying this. e1000 has many more options and 1.3 megappixel camera.
lookin to buy a new phone. which is better, this one or the V635? can you even use this phone in canada?
I seem to have unintentionally renamed someone.. Sands,I appologize,no harm intended..
Oh,and Sandy,in relative terms,it's actually a LOT of memory compared to the majority of other phones.Example;one high quality pic (640x480)which is captured really good (some pics aren't as clear as others, lighting perhaps?) wasn't larger on my phone than 40-50Kb. Do the math yourself. However, that quality is when youw want them on your PC. MMS quality is up to 10 times smaller (in memory usage) so in total you get a phone that can store hundreds of pics, depending on the quality. I've just returned from a vacation and haven't used even 50% of the memory for all the pics I've taken.
Someone asked about what one gets in the box. Well U get the forward (main) part of the phone, battery and the rear part in separate packs with a serial number, the charger also in a pack with a serial number, user manual and warranty or whatever else your provider gives. At least that's what I got. Does this help?
it sometimes happen with motorolas, the camera issue. depends on the make (especially with the v5xx series, which are inherently same save the design). i think it was something like the AA or AB models had an issue with the camera, but when you get it back it should be fine.
I admit i bought this phone based on reviewes.. the phone lives up to everything promised.. its a great phone overall.
But i myself have had a bad experience with the phone, i took the phone home for a couple of hours and the camera just stopped working.. it showed a blank screen. I must have been the 1/1000 faulty phones? But ive sent it back to motorola and waiting on a new one, anyone had the same problem?
Small display, no fm radio, only 5 mb to distribute, no mc slot, no infrared . Bad choice , u ll sell it fast. Buy it if yo want style.
I reckon the phone is too slow, not very responsive.. and no memory slot. Good for as a phone but not for anything else
