i was thinking about purchasing this phone but i really need this one question answered... I used to have the v620 and when i uploaded the pics from the computer via the usb port the photos came out absolutely fanstically clear... when i did the same with the razr (black) they came out distorted... was very dissapointed... do you know how the picture quality turns out when transfering pictures from the pc to the phone (v635)...??

i have had the fone for about a month. the features are gr8. i had no problem at all,mp3 player work fine no trouble gettin tracks on it and i have got all the settins for mms,gprs etc. if anyone needs help with the phone email me

hey thanks everyone for your advice the phone seems pretty good and ive just ordered it. if anyones looking for a memory card for the phone go to amazon, they have them for under £8, which is about £20 cheaper than anywhere else

take your phone to the o2 shop and ask them about this problem. doesn't sound normal at all, cld be a faulty phone as far as I'm concerned ..but it's best to check with o2 themselves just in case they expect you to do something (i.e. registering) to activate the phone first before you use it (in which case is what's causing the black and white screen).

Hi everyone, had motolra V635 for 4 days on o2 contract, i tried to turn it on one morning and all i got was a bacl and white flashing screen, this is all it does. I have tried charging it for 2 horus as advised but nothing worked. Any ideas?. Tom

I have recently purchased a Motorola V635. I successfully transferred an MP3 to the phone but when i came to play the MP3, the song gets so far through and then stops, the screen turns white and then returns to the home screen. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do you solve it?

Had the phone for a while now but i cant download mms messages or send them. Also when i try to connect to the internet it says "Connection Unsuccessful, try again later". Anyone else have this problem? Its driving me nuts! Otherwise good phone.

I'm in the U.S. (Indiana), and purchsed a V635 on ebay. I rcvd it w/ a French manual. I use a Cingular SIM card. Most all the features work well, however I've not yet tried to set up the IM and I haven't used the MP3 features. The one problem I'm having now is that I can not download or send multi-media text messages. When I try to send/rcv pictures, it fails. Any ideas why or what can be done about it?

does anyone noe how to transfer java games from their comp to their fone with a usb cable??

The USB cable that comes with it is, well,,,not worth using!
I can't get the driver to work, plug in the phone and the PC askes for a driver, point the PC in the direction of the SO CALLED cd-rom and Hay-Presto, no driver found on CD.
Motorola tell me that it's because the CD is a trial version and most probably wouldn't work with Win98 SE2.
Total waist of time!!!!!!!!!!!

FOR DELIO:Yes this is possible on the v635 all you have to do in camera mode you have to press dwn to change the mode to either zoom..light and colours
