If u don't like this phone, then it's probably not targeted for you. Companies have to see to it that they make products for everyone. This one if for the lower market, for people who can't afford, or don't like to spend so much for a phone. Now if you like so much the well-featured ones, and can't afford them, too bad for you you'll probably have to stick with this one. I hope everyone got my point. "Great phone, for it's market target." Don't complain!
well in my opinion i think this phone is a low end phone...extremely low end actually...maybe it is meant to target the "not so rich" people or people who wan a phone just to make a call.anyway have to wait till it is released to check the price.anyone has any info bout the price of this phone?
Great phone! I've been constantly looking for a simpistic phone. I have my notebook, my pocket pc, and I just need a very basic phone until the Skype + WiFi combination obliterate all useless 3G & 4G phones and communication standards.
I dont know actually if I am shocked or desappointed by Motorola, this phone proves that the glory that Motorola had in the past, is just a vague souvenir.
I think this phone will suit some people like me who simply want to use a phone. Nothing more.
Being a Moto user for more then 10 years. Moto finally manage to solve their problem with Pick up and Close button wrong way round last year. Now the only problem is with their software.
Like all of their phone OS. Only 10 Dailed / Missed / Recived Call. Why not 20 or 50 like most other company? Standby hour still on the low side. And hopefully you can store more SMS this time around.
Oh... Is there any Auto Push open button?
A perfect phone for the older generation. I think the kids are missing the point with this phone. Why have an amazing resolution screen when all you are displaying is numbers? people who care about the quality of their pictures don't really want a phone camera which takes fuzzy shots through a lens which is covered in greasy finger prints and scratches. You could take away any messaging function and replace the irritating ring tones with an old school 'ring ring' and there would still be a strong market. If you want bells and whistles then you're obviously looking at the wrong phone... Get over it and move on.
this phone is so simple, its cool, this phone is for communication only and nothing else.as in for communication only, i wanna have one to be my extra phone.
Is this the w220 the expected SCPL model? or is the SCPL a totally different new phone?
i think this phone is perfect!!!ah but perfect for the veterans in life..hehehe..maybe motorola decided to make this for the old people who only wants an fm radio in their phone...plus they will look stylish, hip and cool..hehehe
Wouldnt mind this phone, might give my dad my D600 and get this.
Very basic and its got all that i need.
this is a vey cute phone with all the basics that a basic user requires. The cool thing i lke about the phone is the external screen and the fm radio. This phone are for consumers who don't expect much from their mobiles (like me )
I'm gonna buy this phone in the moment it becomes available! After all, will be good if the display is a little bigger!
You'll be surprised as to how many people will be interested in this phone as having just the basics. Working for mobile firm there are many people who hate bells and whistles!
Well then what the F Motorolla is doing about that other segment? when in CeBit everyone is coming up with dozons of new models..Moto is sleeping? They are like a decade behind in technology.
are you ppl so dumb that you think theres only 1 market segment that manufacturers aim for? the market is jammed full of handsets for the young 'tech minded' people.
this is a handset for people who don't care about having the most upto date functions. and around 70% of all users are PAYG (in the UK anyway). so a low cost handset is always welcome in the market that looks good.
I would be looking forward to see it on sale on Amazon with $150 cash back.
