I have installed the driver for this phone and my PC detects the 1GB SD card as well, but when I copy any file (mp3) it takes forever, and the PC hangs up. Any idea what might be the problem?

i have added 1 gb external memeory card to my W230 model. when i am connecting it to my system. my system is not able to read the phone. i have checked my system USB port all are active. if this phone requires extra driver then please let me know about it.

Does it really have 2.5mm... moreNo. the w230 uses 2.4mm jack. i tried using the nokia 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter it doesnt work. i modify the headset. try opening the mic part of the headset which comes with the phone and mod it to connect a 3.5mm adapter to that.
i mod mine with a smokin bud earphones sound ok. no base though.

W230 is at first one of the cheapest cell. It is just like Audio MP3 player (ipod) 2 GB supported. It is better to use CARD READER than USB. If u want to connect via USB, there should be proper driver and USB port should be directly connected (high energy port). NO games can be added or downloaded. GPRS fine and 500 sms dedicaed and FM recording too. So remember PRICE and functionalities. IT IS NOT ROCKR or NSERIES, it is cheapest w230. Currently at $30 PRICE.
