To start this, you can go down and read what people have already answered. The information you want is there.
But today I'm in a good mood and so I will answer again:
1. can the mp3 files be used as ringtones for calls, sms, alarm?
Answer: YES. As ringtones for ALL of that.
2. can i install games from the usb cable i.e. storing the game setup file in the memory card and then installing the game?
Answer: copy the game to a 'OTHERS' folder, then open it from your phone. Don't expect to stuff it with games. I haven't installed any, Sudoku and Tetris are enough, I haven't got time to play.
3. how is the radio reception quality?
Answer: Very good.
4. can i upgrade the earphones provided in the sales package?
Answer: The plug is 2.5, but I've never tried other earphones. The ones provided are really nice and when a call comes in while we are listening to music, we can answer without having to take out the earphones from our ears and flipping open the phone.
5. what does the sales package contain?
Answer: Phone, battery, earphones, manual.
6. will it operate without any problem when we use 2GB card for it?
Answer: Absolutely no problem. I've got a SanDisk 2GB and a Kingston 2GB. The phone doesn't get slow or anything, even if both cards are full.

the sound quality is the same as the w230.
it is basically the same phone in a different form - one is a bar phone, the other one is a flip.

to answer your questions:
-it doesn't use a "pure T9", being a Moto it has iTap and yes, it lags but so little you can't hardly notice (it takes a while to get used to the keys);
-no, sorry but it doesn't support WMA files, only MP3, MIDI, AMR and iMelody;
-yes, you can set any of your music track as ringtones for calls, message alert and alarm to wake you up in the morning :)

i've got mine since it came out.
never had any problems hearing the person on the other side and they hear me perfectly, too.
the mp3 player is great, the sound is very clear and loud, with and without headphones (if you listen without headphones, the battery goes flat very quickly).
yes, you can use your own mp3 ringtones to both calls and message alert.
sorry, no idea whether it is better than the LG you mentioned, don't like LG so never tried the 110.

i just bought this phone few days ago. no camera but it's ok. yes you can play mp3 or radio while doing other stuff like SMS and games even when it's closed. True, it's kinda difficult to text. keypads are not that nice. sometimes i have to keep deleting coz some letters won't appear unless you press it real hard.
