i purchased this model a couple of months back. my opinion is that if you are used to nokia models never buy this. the menu options are extremely limited and not very easy to use. the screen resolution is mediocre.the battery part is ok.so is the music player. overall worth the price. as the nokia models with comparable specs will cost 5000+

just bought the phone a few hours ako. its just a back up phone so i have no comments.. just one question. does the response of the keypad in typing your msg take sometime? because am really a quick user of the phone and it seems to be a bit slow. do you find the same problem?

very good phone,i have purchased 2 days back,
sound quality is good,battery is also good and looking is super.................. just go and buy it.the cost is rs.3500/- including 1gb memory card.and also motorola company is giving one gift item along with this handset.

1.) Is the battery good? 'Cause I h... more1. the motorola website said the battery life can be around 400hrs standby & 7.5hrs talk time.. given dat it was lack of connectivity functions it sure can last longer compare to others..
2. wat can u expect from a vga camera? sure u cant compare to cmos or other kind of cam but with such cheap pricing the cam is sufficient enuff for me.. n u also can take some beautiful pic too with some tinkering..

I wanted to ask a couple of questions about this phone:
1.) Is the battery good? 'Cause I have a Motorola W230 and the battery sucks, I have to charge it everyday and I hate that. So I wanted to know if this phone's battery is like Moto W230.
2.) Is the camera good? I used to have a W375 and the VGA camera on it isn't very good so I wanted to know if the picture quality of this phone is a lot better.
That's it, hope somebody can answers this questions for me. Thanks.

compared to any other mobile phone websites, motorola.com is the worst websites. look at nokia,sony ericsson websites - these provide good info about all their phones that come under their brand. the fone info provided in motorola website is either not sufficient or its just waste.

it cost 3500 or may be below it
its a walkman series phone with good
sound quality and expandable memory
and also contains infrared port
but lacks bluetooth
overall its a good phone
and affordable too

Xgen, 28 Sep 2008How to connect via pc, coz my w388 memory cannt automatic read in pc, it is not easy to connec... moreI bought a W388 recently as well. I agree with the previous post- computer doesn't have drivers to communicate with phone. Can't find an English manual on Moto web-site.
