Has anyone tried

-storing more than 2000 entries in phonebook?...what is the maximum you have stored..?
==========================================================
The maximum you can stored depend on internal memory and SIM Card memory. Maybe can modification to make available stored to external memory.

==========================================================
-recording voice?..both lecture and over phone?..How is the quality?..what is the maximum duration you've recored?..nd specify where you've stored it-internal memory or card..?
==========================================================
Recording Voice Quality is clear. Depend on how far between you and the sound source. The maximum duration you can record is depend on internal memory and external memory. You can stored to internal memory and external memory (support 8 Gb Micro SD Slot).

In terms of the different OS used by Moto, here is my own findings:

1)Linux - most reliable and user friendly...when I need to create a music play list, all I have to do is drag the related folder containing all the music files to create one. I can't find such feature in my Windows mobile based Q9h. Also with the phones being turned off, Linux based phones can receive the signal faster than Windows Mobile and way much faster than Symbian based phones.

2)Windows Mobile - fairly reliable, though I still can't figure how to create a music play list on my Q9h.

3)Symbian - just wish Moto never released such phone...the Z8. PERIOD.

So what is best and worst OS really depends on one's needs...

Moto have rokr z6 (very suck phone) because of under a linux OS.

For better choice of OS is :
1. Windows OS. (the best).
2. Symbian OS.
3. Blackberry OS.
4. Linux OS. (lastest choice).

and another runner is :
1. Blackberry 9000 BOLD - 624 MHz.
2. Blackberry STORM - 624 MHz.
3. Sony Ericsson X1 - 528 MHz.
4. HTC Touch HD - 528 MHz.

To Johndru , you are very right. Nevertheless when I compare the preset equaliser of NK N95 8gb and NK N85 , the sound produce by Zn5 is still compact and clear and the best though it is not loud as the 2 Nokia models.

Have you seen Motorola ZN4? Motorola ZN4 with OS MotoMagX / Linux Java has very touchsensitive. I think much better than OS Android in HTC G1.

how would one be a music phone and the most important thing is how could it be a music phone? we want to PERSONALIZE the SOUND that is why it is NEEDED. the first rokr may have great dual speakers BUT do you still think it is a music phone WHEN IT CAN'T HANDLE THE LATEST AUDIO CODECS? IT CAN'T EVEN HANDLE VARIABLE BIT-RATES! lolz.. you are SO FUNNY. protecting the name MOTO which goes down every day!
