Motorola has the best music phone out there.
-E398 is the real pioneer of music phone. It was well-known before SE was learning to make Walkman phones.
-Rokr E2 is the best music phone among others. It's been proved by making some tests at Mobile-Review site.
-Rokr E8 is the ultimate music phone. It offers all U need for musical taste.Big storage capacity,3.5mm jack, fast scrolling, support much audio codecs, etc.
Don't forget that it has beaten Nokia 5310 Xpress Music in the test.
So,U guys Motohaters or whatever,U have to face the reality that Moto still offers the best music phone.Don't call your Walkman or Express Music phones are better.Sorry,Moto still rules.

Motorola Rokr E8 has 20 steps of volume.
At least Motorola has different design and not like other brand just change / replace the button to other place without change the design.

Motorola ZN5 is Camera Phone with extra good audio. I don't know why in here has STUPID person who compare Motorola ZN5 with Sony Ericsson Walkman. Sony Ericsson Cybershot with 5 Mega Pixel Camera can't beat Motorola ZN5. Hahaha...

Motorola Rokr is Music Phone. Until now Sony Ericsson Walkman can't beat Motorola E398 and Motorola E680i/g (the legend).

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Sorry, Zn5 was not designed as a MUSIC phone. Believe if you want more intervals, you need to go for either E8 or EM30.

If the I?music brand listens so much from its customers, then why none of its phone offers a 3.5mm jack? Why only the OEM X1 uses microSD card?

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2008Anyone who buy Motorola ZN5 from China will doesn't support WiFi and FM Radio. But don't sad b... moreGreat reminder! I believe only the ones being sold in mainland China do NOT have WiFi (for political reason?)

All other "Asian" versions, including those from Hong Kong and Taiwan, do "have" WiFi. (I just used my Zn5 on WiFi last night)

So for those not getting the Zn5 from "official" distributors, please be careful unless you don't need WiFi.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Dear fella who trusts his ears more
MR uses another FW version, different from the zn5 you have it
The one you have doesn't have RAW for sure and other minor things
MR and SMAPE have, let's say, the ultimate ZN5 FW!
This also means a better SQ and other stuff!
and also, i am 100% that soon we will see mods for zn5, just like we see at E8.

i mean the minimum volume is 1 and the max volume is 7? is it still the same? cuz it pisses me off bigtime! motorola SHOULD HAVE MORE INTERVALS ON ITS VOLUME! imagine when the volume is 3 and the next is 4, the difference in sound is SO OBVIOUS. it will be too loud to the ears when i increase the volume but the previous volume is not enough.

moto is so STUPID. doesn't even care how a person listens. SE is very good at this one. they have like 16 steps in volume where you could actually inc/dec the volume in a good way.

look at how the volume of ipod works. you'll notice that the interval is not GRADUAL!

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2008@addiga It's not true, ZN5 has a best sound quality phone in the market. Try to check RA... moreForget the RAAM test, I trust my ears more. I plugged in Creative EP630 and Sennheiser CX300, I think its good enough for listening at home, but forget who ever said this sounds much better than iPod, not true.. Get your own headphones and test it before you buy. I have the ZN5 and N91 with me, the N91 has power to drive even my Sennheiser HD457, but this ZN5 is just not loud enough. I checked out some online reviews like mobile-review.com who goes too much about its frequency graphs test results and THD, stereo crosstalk, I totally disagree

hi guys. i would like to know how is the battery life of this phone. for me that is the most important part of the phone, because if you dont have a nice battery then you cannot use the phone to its full potential

I am using it for 2 days now. Best ever build quality, perfect screen and camera, sound quality very good. Sometimes a bit slow, but not to the point to become an important issue. Very pleased with it. And one other thing: it looks more than gorgeous
