Xiaomi Android

Xiaomi is yet to introduce a smartphone with support for charging faster than 18W, but we are likely to see that change in 2019. Тhe Compulsory Certification of China (better known as 3C) issued a clearance for Xiaomi phones with model designations M1902F1A and M1902F1T with 27W charging. Since the first half of the year is usually the time for a Mi flagship, the new phone is likely the Xiaomi Mi 9.

The phone is certified either with the standard MDY-08-ES charger that goes up to 18W or the new MDY-10-EH power block that offers 20V/1.35A, or 27W. We’re yet to see if this is indeed the upcoming flagship since Xiaomi usually introduces it in the first quarter of the year, but the current star Mi 8 came as late as May 31.

Xiaomi has scheduled an MWC 2019 event, and although it sounds like this could be the launch spot for the Mi 9, we are more likely to see a Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 equipped with the latest Snapdragon X50 modem, giving the slider 5G capabilities. We will be in Barcelona to cover the event, so once everything is official, you’ll be among the first to know.

So much for "educated" TROLL u are... Taken from GSMArena article: "Note: a typical lithium battery works at around 3.8V so pushing a higher voltage to the phone requires hardware inside the phone to step down the voltage. This creates a go...

They're catching up a bit, but remain well behind Oppo and Huawei in the fast charging R&D war.

That's the beauty in it, you charge in a short time and stay away from the charger for long. I get 2 days heavy usage out of my Mate 20 Pro with 40W charging and when I do charge it takes very little time.
