This would be a brilliant phone, If it wasn't on 3pay, and if it was a bit smaller. It has a great camera, and I think its got a huge memory, ive got about 45 24 second vids with sound, 293 messages, tons of photos, loads of mp3 files, and Its still got room for more! Battery life isn't something to be proud of, goes down after 2 or 3 days of light usage. I like the way you can make your own folders, and its really easy to move pics and movies, sound and messages around. Internet is good, although you can only use it on 3's own site. Ringtones are a ripoff. Photo caller ID, video calling is good altough I haven't used it much. I haven't had reception problems with it suprisingly, even in the welsh mountains when my mums nokia on t-mobile was dead I had a 2g signal. The green dot thing for 3g is very handy. This really would be an excellent phone if it wasn't on 3pay which makes you pay £15 a month.

This is THE biggest waste on money.
Buy if you wanna waste AUD$150.
Its packed with Features, and Camera Quality is excellent!
But is a BRICK for a modern day Mobile.
DO NOT BUY!!

Hi i bought this phone from Bulgaria ... but having probs trying to upload games via data cable i found out that you are supposed to use .JAR files i upload them through the software you get with the phone using the "ANY FILES" when i go to open them it says "Unable to open the file. This type of file cannot be read on your handset" can anyone help???? ... is it possible to use blueT. for file transfer.. i read about it in inernet and everywhere peopple write that the NEC 616 can use BlueT only for handsfee ... PLEASE HELP ME ! !! :)

I hav had dis fone b4 it was good but i returned coz every1 sed it was a brick, do u think it is a brick.

My mate has this fone and its wicked,I live in the uk but everywere is discontinued in uk. I dont like ebay and everything i buy there i dont recieve so dont use it.
Please some on, i want this fone so badly. I want a pay as you go version of the NEC 616 on 3pay. I already have the nec e228 but its broken. got it before it came out in uk so its lasted me a while. Still got number

Good Phone. Some things are hard to do but camera is good and so is videocalling. Dont be put off by negative comments because it is a good phone. Just a bit too bulky though.

ths fone is sooo crap do not buy it!!
ive only had it for 1 month and its already broken. It says it has bluetooth..sif amd it is as big as a house brick!!!!!!
at least m gonna take it back tomorrow and get my $$$ back

I like its certain features but I can't download any java game because its WAP service is not applicable in our country.
