The camera is on the back, under the arial but a little towards the other side. Hope this helps!
well, im about to by this mobile and im a little worried coz ive heard lots of bad stuff about, anyways im still gonna get it, but i wanna know where the camera is on the phone coz the pictures dont show it
so i wanna know where the camera is!!!!!
ok 3 days Ive had the phone now - plenty of free ringtones downloaded but only 1 game available and that was dangermouse and then it wasnt in my 1 free game quota because of its price - the message alert is rubbish - often just the vibration goes off. the camera is as good as I would have expected but the sending message text font is too small and when changed it often switches straight back
all in all i believe its value for money
Its along the same topic as everyone else - a reasonably good little phone - but why produce a camera phone without a data cable so pic's can be easily transferable - has anyone found a solution without emailing
My girlfriend has just bought me the phone - Ive read alot of bad press on here about it so I hope she dont log onto this forum lol but I'll keep you posted on my opinions
Jo, I got what I wanted form this website http://www.free-ringtones-free-logos.com/ All free and seems a pretty good selection to me. To get out of WAP hold down the 'hang-up' key for a couple of seconds, works for me.
I love it - only one prob - can't find many downloads (ringtones etc) that are compatible with it. Just one question - when you've used the WAP service how do you get off it and return to the menu? I have trouble logging off !!
Yes, sending them to your pc by email works fine, but I agree it's annoying that it costs us to get our own photos. Other than that one gripe I have no problems with the phone. Have downloaded free ringtones that I wanted and it seems to do everything else as it should. Worked well in Thailand recently.
i have emailled photos from my phone to computer. you go to send an mms message, select email when sending, insert your email address which you can access from your computer and the photo will be sent to your computer via email. this costs the normal mms price though which is quite annoying
-PC Sync!-
i have investigated this as there is ythe sync to pc function and after contacting O2 and NEC numerous times i have finaly been given an answer. there is no data cable for the nec e101, there is the function to sync but this was placed on the phone when the software was installed by nec, o2 then have the option to bring out or develop a data cable or a way to sync. but o2 have decided not to. so answer to your question and many others is no you can not connect this phone to the PC. the only way to transfer your pics is to send then via an email address but im not 100% sure how to do this sorry.
hope this helps
Louise

i had this phone since christmas. the only thing wrong with it. i can not upload photos on too my pc. does anyone know how to do this. and also anyone got idea how i use pc sync.
Thanks Ally - I have contacted the site to see if they can help!
I wondered what WAP Push was, so I Googled it. "WAP Push messages are specially formatted SMS messages that display an alert message to the user, and give the user the option of connecting directly to a particular URL via the mobile phone’s WAP browser." So I assume what you have is a text message which will send you to a WAP site. Probably an advert unless you have a friend who might want to send you a link to a site.
That's my guess anyway.
A tiny envelope with a globe has appeared in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and when i close the handset there is a message 'receive new push'. How do I clear this and/or 'receive new push' what is a push?
Andy, I tried sending an image to each of my email accounts and had the same problem until I sent it to the O2 account created when I registered the number on the O2 site. You can then either save it or forward that email (with the image intact) to your favoured email address. Bit of a pain but at least it works.
At some point I'll do a review of this phone, but it seems like a rushed job - nice phone, poorly supported.
The phone is well designed but I have one irritation with it.
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get pictures taken on phone onto a PC. I have emailed and that has worked for text. But cannot see/open picture as email attachment. Any ideas?
i bought a replacement charger from sales@solware.co.uk for £6.95 including postage and delivery was really fast.
my own problem is that on previous phones u could hide your number can this be done on the nec 101 ?
