AnonD-259215, 21 Oct 2014Then why Microsoft bought Nokia? Nokia was already dying Nokia has some interesting patents.
Plus Nokia actually knows how to make a good phone (hardware) they just don't know how to make a good (modern) OS. -- Sadly Microsoft has proven to not know how to do that too.

At best you are describing the next Zune.

as a longterm fanboy i owned nokia phones from 3310, n series to lumia because of the hardware quality provided. MS is just one bad spoiler in a perfectly fine brand of phones i liked. MS is bad news to the tech world this day. all thier tech sux big time.

Many people were expecting Microsoft to put their name on phones. My only reason to buy Windows phone is here maps, but now here maps maps are also on samsung. In my view Microsoft lost half of my interest to buy a windows phone. Windows Phone has not nice interface (tiles design) compared to the other operating systems.

Thank You very Much you Money Grabbing Cowboys,Mr Elop and Microsoft have just Downgraded One of Best Mobile Company that people still respect,Nokia will never be Forgotten to loads of Symbian and mobile phone uses,as soon as Mr Elop stepped in at Nokia people knew that it was related to Microsoft,Microsoft always think they are more Popular than Apple but they will never achieve this Target at All,an need a Big company to help them,an Nokia could not Advance Symbian Further an were way behind Android,an how the Nokia Board accepted Mr Elop as Chairman is somewhat Amazing, but when your offered some Money to Save you, then you Accept it,Febuary 11th will Always Haunt Nokia when Mr Elop said "Symbian is Dead",Why?Nokia did not give Android any Chance is Just Amazing,as Windows is not Right for the Nokia name

MS is not like Samsung who throws every feature into the phone just because they can.

Microsoft's Research and Development is far ahead than Apple and Google and they are going to bring this 3D touch technology with interactive live tiles next year with the most powerful mobile OS WP10. They're also building tactile feedback for virtual keyboards.

On the other hand, WP8 and Windows 8 have the same kernel so universal apps can be coded and there are lots of them already in the store such as Freshpaint, Halo: Spartan Assault, Wordament etc.

Microsoft is going to win this battle in the long run. Sorry to burst your little bubble.

First of all, you won't see a WP device with 4GB Ram ... moreWP doesn't need 4GB because its multitasking SUCKS! When its OS become more and more powerful like Android, it WILL NEED MORE RAM. When the Resuming..... has disappeared totally from the OS, it will be the time when WP will need at least 2GB in order to work well.
