So stupid Microsoft .. they replaced the legend lovely name with its notorious brand. People hate Microsoft and adore Nokia.

Nokia board was extremely dumb when they trust the trojan horse who had the intention from his first day to destroy Nokia ..

See you Nokia in 2016 .. You will be back

"Nokia, the company, still exists but as part of the agreement with Microsoft it won't make new phones for at least several more years"

              You are wrong sir!!

Nokia can re-produce cellphones by the end of 2015 according to this agreement and not for several years.

Lumia 830 was the last - and best - Nokia Lumia. Just got one a few days ago.

Sad to see the name go. Now that Nokia and Ericsson have gotten rid of their consumer divisions, does that leave Motorola as the oldest name (if not company, what with mergers and so on) left in Consumer Mobile Telecommunication?

See Motorola; the company is being sold over and over but none of the buyers is dreaming of replacing such a well know brand. Now M$ idiots take the most well known brand in mobile telephony and eagerly want to replace it with the most hated. I can stretch myself to buy something that just writes "Lumia", but yeah, I'm not buying a thing with a "Microsoft" writing on it.

I have no idea how the big marketing PhDs at Microsoft fail to realise how much the Nokia name means in the very markets where WP has been selling. Nokia is the sole reason WP didn't completely fail and they're taking away their best marketing value... it's silly really. It will be their downfall.

I hope the Nokia-MS deal breaks eventually. Nokia is a legendary brand to fall like this.

If MS will not change something radical in WP, than WP will be a colossal failure. Bigger than now.
