Heshtios, 24 Oct 2014Obstacles like people asking them why they bought a Windows Phone when they could have bought ... moreElitism? Lol! Mmmkay. You do realise most androids sold in your country are budget brands like Huawei and Xiomi. Nothing elite about those. You might also learn the difference between devices shipped and revenue earned.

This is awesome news for everyone.
Do you guys seriously think Android L would come so early if it wasn't for WP market share increase?
Google had it easy because there was no competition for cheaper devices since there's no value Apple phone.
The more players in the game, the better it is for all of us, regardless if you prefer Android, iOS or WP.

all consumers will gain if another giant emerge.
why only have andriod or support the other rubbish blindly?

and people it was the worst thing I ever did.
android has got quicker, but still no match for Lumia.
the apps are all there. but after a few weeks the app thing wears off and you want your Lumia back. thankgod I kept it. so my sony is only couple weeks old and hitting ebay this weekend.
back to my 930 for now. but I do like the new blackberry passport, hhhmmm.
im addicted to phones I guess. some people its drugs and fegs and drink, me its phones lol

Cesar Lisboa, 24 Oct 2014Never under estimate giants, because when you got hurt by then:you are already dead!Who underestimates who? Microsoft, Google and Apple are all software giants but Microsoft is lagging behind since they WERE reluctant in getting into the smartphone business. Now, they are playing catch up with Android and iOS.

IF I remember correctly Nokia still has the mapping service and the network business and other software stuff, after selling the phones to Microsoft. Nokia is going to spred HERE maps globally on every platform. So soon se can enjoy best offline navigation on Android and iOS too.

They pushed really good prices on the 5 and 6 series so people can see how good Lumia phones really are. Nobody has returned from WP to Android or IOs.
