Anonymous, 25 Oct 2014I agree, this should've been the Nexus 6. I would've bought it, but because this is a carrier ... moreYes you cannot buy it but not because of the development support because Motorola Droid exclusive for Verizon have some strong support that phone is a 2009 phone. Droid 2, Droid 3, Droid 4, Droid Ultra, Droid Mini, Droid Maxx are all phones with strong support because only Verizon is able to sell millions phones believe me.

If you can't buy this phone it is because it is a CDMA phone not GSM but some Droid phone had both and I don't know if this one will support the GSM.

I also believe that the Droid Turbo would have been the Nexus 6 but we can have the GSM version according to rumor the Moto Play X aka Droid Turbo.

If the Droid Turbo come as GSM version, the Note 4 will be in trouble.

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2014It will have an unlocked version. I hope so. The unlocked version should have an sd card slot, too, then it will be the creme de la creme of Android phones, I think.

This is not true because my S5 LTE-A (1440 x 2560 pixels) vs S5 (1080 x 1920 pixels) the high resolutions has much better battery life, it depends on the phone, battery size, software & hardware.

Probably a cool phone for Verizon customers. Still, a pointless exercise with that resolution on a 5" screen.

Why 2560x1440 resolution ona 5" screen? This is far beyond "retina" display, and drains more battery than 1920x1080.
