i mean people who are using 6k rupees phones in india are definitely not the one who are working in secret service or prime ministers office or as in any defense structure....... why so much noise on xiaomi collecting data blah blah blah......
first of all its not primarily a device manufacturing company, its an internet company which makes devices too....
and so they provide services like backing up all ur data like msgs, logs etc......
even apple does dat and google too......
and storing it on a server????? come on.....dats d standard procedure of providing backup services.....
whats der in our phone dat is so confidential?????
i mean i dont carry any indian defense mechanism plans or missile designs in my phone.......
        seriously hillarious comments........

We don't know the truth exactly but one thing for sure that such notification was not given for apple i4 to i6 which send data to NIA-USA as per Edward Snowden and other operator. Firstly Apple is costly phone and no body is committing with its range in India. Secondly Xiaomi is giving the same type of product as apple but price is almost 30% of apple. rise of xiaomi is huge setback to Indian mobile company and may be they take such matter. However F secure notification was addressed by xiaomi and matter was closed. All mobile company provide the cloud services then why xiaomi is shortlisted. In my opinion due to its popularity and price tag. Rest with the investigation agencies to come up with truth rather than falsification of the xiaomi products.

First, It starts sending to their server on my MI3 once i logged in to Mi Account to download themes.
Second, No, even if i disable the cloud data, Xiaomi is not deleting the cloud data. When treid to delete it from pc, it asks me to pair my phone first, why the heck do i need to pair my phone with using my phone number?
I concern for the safety of my data from snooping chinese government.
