Processors can't get upgraded. To do that you would have to physically change the processor chip off for a newer model. Upgrading the operating system doesn't change anything about the processor. If you changed a Pentium 3 to a Pentium 4 in a desktop that would be upgrading the processor. Do you think upgrading from Windows 7 to windows 10 changes the processor?

Anonym, 27 Oct 2014I wonder if you even read the first line of the article...Back in August, MediaTek announced its flagship chip - the MT6795. It has an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 2.2GHz and PowerVR G6200 GPU

[deleted post]Strange... if "USA is the ruler", remind me again how that doesn't apply to Google and Android?
You may have been living under a rock for too long now, last time I've checked Android flagships weren't cheap -- so surely price mustn't be the indicator of quality in order to sustain your point.
See the irony?
Cesar Lisboa, 27 Oct 2014The new SOC will fix the problemGlad to hear they want us to buy hardware to solve what was essentially lack of software support. Makes perfect sense...
