Is this made of solid 24K - then it would be soft and subject to dents etc - or is it gold plated? what is the cost of the gold content in there?

A phablet that is a piece of jewellery. Fantastic. I suppose all the negative comments about the price come from people who have a $20 watch. Some people have Omega and Rolex. This is for them. If you think it is expensive, then it isn't for you.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2014No Note 4 can beat the Droid Turbo... even if it's made from gold. :P Only dedicated "important" phones are being provided with the Gold versions(note4/iP6).. Lets see if your Droid Turbo can get the Gold version.
