So wait, the A3 has just 1GB of RAM and comes with Android 4.4 and TouchWiz, when the only reason Samsung gave for not updating S3 was that it's 1GB of RAM wasn't enough to support KitKat.

god.now i really want it....because of the colour choice. look at the blue and pink colour! the pastel ones! i will surely buy it because of the colours....even though i dont use android anymore but.... these beautiful colours are way too tempting....

While these phones aren't bad at all, pricing will determine their sales. Anything more than 300 bucks is already too expensive what with the serious competition around.

It would seem Samsung is set to create new market segments which will probably be called 'premium entry level' and 'premium mid-range'. Could also go by 'high end entry level' and 'high end mid-range'. :)

kris, 31 Oct 2014CPU is likely Snapdragon 410. Nice devices for sure but they will be slightly overpriced. They will be hugely overpriced, not slightly. They will fail to sell and Samsung will wonder what they need to do to capture market share again.
