I find that a removable battery and other improvements are supporting LG's current success. That should note Sony.

about bezels, only HTC and Apple has the most gigantic Godzilla size bezels, Sony doesn't even comes close to having big bezels when compared to HTC or Apple!
about Looks, Sony phonems looks quite good, they aren't as bad as you are trying to portray it!
about marketing, yes I agree they are Zero in marketing purposes unlike Samsung.
you are full of lies with zero facts, you are simply a hater. try looking at the reality

Sony please adapt what others are doing
      Less ad campaign
      Less price/competitive pricing

Then you will get your selling....

Z3 compact has exactly the same resolution as it's predecessor(z1 compact). Xperia Z3 is priced well under Note4 or other S805 phones, it has the same price as S5 and M8 although it is far superior in every respect. Secondly you must know that in life not always the best wins. This applies to sport (Chelsea won Champions League after they were trashed by both Bayern and Barcelona) and whatever you want. To give you a simple example Xperia Z2 was undoubtedly better than S5 and M8, yet it hasn't been sold as good as S5( far better battery life, stereo fron speakers, noise cancelling built-in, weird that gsmarena "forgot" this feature when comparing z2 with S5, perhaps the best camera and a great screen, although not as good as S5's). In the past Sony was known for late updates but look now, almost all their phones are on KitKat and they are giving Lollipop to entire Z series(that's 14 different phones if i remember correctly and I'm sure that no other company will update so many devices). Right now they are the best on updates, after Motorola.
Last thing I wanna tell you is if you don't like Sony phones nobody's forcing you to buy them. I'm a Sony fan and I've never commented on posts about other brands. It's sad to see people like you that can't accept than anyone can have his opinion and tastes.

Cleary their bland omni balance designs aren't selling phones. And their repetitive marketing with those ads of the Xperia splashing into water didn't help and grew old very fast.

Sony has mainly failed in low and mid range devices, price is not competitive enough

Xperia users are not loyal, lots of them change brand and for good reasons, always disappointing, Z3 didnt even have 805 chipset and Z3 Compact had lower pixel density than its predecessor, just thinner and no improvements. Sony has to change their phones or give up before the losses grow too big, theres no way they can go on like this, even manage to have declining sales in a growing market, wutt???

Maybe they should make phones under 4,5 inch. I want buy a small phones, with decent midrange hardver, but Sony can't make one. Than why should I buy Sony?

Z3 is perfect from every aspects it just needs a different ui a better stylish ui look than simple naive look

Xperia handsets are actually very potent to compete in the market.. If only they would increase their marketing presence.

It's just a one time goodwill charge due to selling of its Vaio division.
