I am a Sony "fan" so of course I have the Z3C..
But at work 3 colleagues of mine moved from iPhone 5 to Sony (2xZ3 1XZ3C) and when you ask them what do they think about their new phone?,they say they love it and iOS was already boring.

Samsung and apple are the two main players... people who don't like ios (like myself) tend to go for Samsung as they generally make the better android phones. Even if profits fall for a little while (remember not everyone wants to buy a new phone every year and that applies to all manufacturers).

The number of sold apple products including iphones will be higher - buyers need Christmas gifts. So it's possible the situation of iphone 6 will improve, too.

Got it right In a nut shell, for a lot of people here it's a fashion item to show off, generally their most expensive possession. If carriers didn't subsidise phones like the iPhone the sales in the UK would be shockingly awful.

Just to put this in perspective guys, the iPhone 6 launched in UK on 19th September, and now a full six weeks later only then is demand 'plateauing'. That means it is still in demand but only now slowing down, with iPhone 6+ demand still insanely strong.
Samsung has to pull out a miracle to survive this onslaught in 2015.

I always had iphones.
Got tired of charging my iphone every few hours.
All the apps I had on my iphone.I got them downloaded via Android app stores.
It was the greatest move I ever made.

Not any Samsung branded phone.Galaxy phones, which are smartphones. Can you give examples of crappy little £10 Samsung Galaxy smartphones?

Although if they are low end models them Samsung isn't generating as much profit as apple even with more sales.
