HTC profit fall by 1/6th , samsung also the same whereas Sony made loss , only LG made 'some ' profit , Motorola still fails to recovers its R&D expenditure . The question arises what is use of having most problem OS (with most free apps ) if there is no profit ? Whereas Apple made a huge profit with just 12% ! BB CEO JOHN CHEN and APPLE CEO TIM COOK are correct - making smartphone not everybody but only to who , who can spend.

It's the largest smartphone manufacturer irrespective anything, isn't it?
But Samsung has now for years tried all shapes and sizes and should by now know what sells so it can start reducing its variety of different models to say 10 to cut cost.

thnks to devices like moto is that android has a good market share...it is incrdible...fast good battery..camera usage is for few social network share...no bad...i used to be ios user...im not now because i have to spend my money in other things but ...after using moto g i think that android improved alot their os...my first attept was the t-mobile g2x..when it was a high end device oliked the tegra 2 chipset and screen but then got a lot of errors..had to hard reset the phone...the 3.5 jack had issues...them i moved to the tiny xperia mini pro...i was ok for me ..good camera too..the screen sized started to be aproblems so i moved to xperia play god device but lack of support....2.3.4 was the latest one ..sony fault...low ram and low end chipset...camera was bad compared to xperia mini pro used to have...after the flex stopped working decided to look for another device...and moto g is current one no issues for now waiting for android l....

Android maybe has 84% of the market but money goes to apple as 12% of IOS make more money than all WP,android together. Just imagine a day when apple decide to drop their prices even for one day! For example 5s one day only limited offer for 200$. On that day android sells will stand still

symbian would be still the best OS but somehow Nokia fucked up (very little ram on board @ #1 imho) .
The only thing that would push android communication devices back is a Linux system like Ubuntu for phones. So like having a PC without any limitations in your backpocket. I mean printing form your phone over usb etc. Full Photoshops stuff etc. Its
about time. ANd Google will be the only 1 doing it or Buying it !

well but may be android has over 80 % market share due to few flagships and a lot of midrange and low end devices wich last ones workes pretty bad....performance is terrible,...with midrage it depends on how much ram and space and android version they have...with high end it depnds of the manufacture so u can get a good camera or good sound or good battery back up either...a lot of devices but not a lot of money compared to apple if u see everything is expensive ...with 1 iphone u can buy from 4 to 6 low end androids...so there ismore money even with low market chare..
