TurboCharge, 04 Nov 2014Try http://store.orange.com/za/mobile-phones/sim-free-phones/ I have a Moto X (1st gen) and a Moto G that I got from Orange, but will they sell the Moto Maxx ??
AnonD-2725, 03 Nov 2014What a pity Motorola isn't in South Africa anymore. I would really like this phone. If it supports the bands used by your local networks, why not have one shipped over?
AnonD-255623, 03 Nov 2014Why would you put a case in something made of ballistic nylon? It's the stuff moto gp riders h... moreYou do realize that the nylon is just on the BACK? The part that actually needs to be protected are the CORNERS.
Li Chang, 03 Nov 2014Way too ugly, only a blind man would like it.Well, you are obviously blind, because it LOOKS IDENTICAL to every other rectangle phone ever made.
Meladyx, 03 Nov 2014What's wrong with capacitive hardware controls? For me I prefer it, especially because it does... moreYour screen is not real estate. Your screen is a chattal and is made of glass. I think you mean to use the word "area" or "space".
Zed, 03 Nov 2014I hope the screen isn't like the one on the Verizon droid turbo, its a rubbish screen, it has ... moreIt has the SAME KIND of AMOLED RGBG as Nexus 6, just sized smaller. Made in the same factory, by the same company (Samsung), with the same everything.
BankaiX, 03 Nov 2014Nice name smartphone name. It sounds like a car or something. Maybe you can rename it to Moto ... moreThey *CANNOT* add "Droid" into the name if they want to sell it by ANY other means than through VERIZON.
Anonymous, 03 Nov 2014Dear Motorola, Now please add a Moto Maxx Mini! Not all people want 5"+ phablets, and we ... moreyes, and with a slideout keyboard!
AnonD-8044, 04 Nov 2014Wonder how much 64gig version is? If its cheaper than Nexus 6 well could be big seller.Plus 21... moreThe Droid Turbo is priced $50 *less* than the Nexus 6 for both 32 and 64 GB versions. Since Verizon are greedy f***ers, the Moto Maxx will probably be even less than that.
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2014Weight and thickness are the only problems here. Major turndowns for me.That is the tradeoff you accept for a big battery. There is no way to add more battery than increasing the thickness and weight. Frankly, it is a more than worthwhile tradeoff, I can't stand the feel of light plastic, it should at least FEEL substantial.
Anonymous , 04 Nov 2014stop thiz nonsense 2K or 4K resolution race on phone. 1080p is enough for me. lolThis device is AMOLED RGBG. It takes more pixels to make an image look good. The resolution is 2560x1440 in GREEN ONLY. In Blue and Red, the resolution is only 2560x720.
AnonD-209094, 04 Nov 2014A Brazilian version will not support the LTE bands, an international model may support some of... moreThe device has been processed by the FCC, and is *identical* to the Droid Turbo, except for the ADDITION of UMTS over AWS.
raj, 04 Nov 2014I am confused that droid maxx is international droid Turbo.. The Motorola website shows two di... more"Droid Maxx" and "Moto Maxx" are different phones.
"Moto Maxx" is the same as "Droid Turbo".
The issue is the word "Droid", which is a trademark of LUCASFILMS (Star Wars... R2D2 and C3PO are "Droids"). This trademark was licensed by Verizon, which means that the word "Droid" can only be used on devices that are actually sold BY Verizon. In other words, if they want to sell the same device by ANY other means, they need to brand it differently. Hence "Moto Maxx" instead of "Droid Turbo".
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2014First link is for last years Droid Maxx with a 720p screen. Second link is for the new Droid T... moreYou may have misread... this device is called MOTO MAXX, not droid turbo. Droid branding is not applicable.
You can't make the screen bigger by removing the buttons, because a bigger screen also needs to be WIDER in order to maintain the aspect ratio. You also lose whatever you gain through the onscreen buttons. NO THANKS. I'll take the capacitive row ANY day.

Second link is for the new Droid Turbo with the 1440p QHD screen. Wish they will make a GSM variant with same size and same specs but with a slightly bigger 5.3"-5.5" screen by using the space of the capacitive buttons and give it another name like Moto X Play and sell it in the US. This way they won't be stepping on what ever ancient agreements they had with Verizon....exclusives don't make any sense anymore.
is there any chances for Vietnamese??
