regs, 04 Nov 2014lol 30% after a year poor google, failed miserably to deploy os updateGoogle has nothing to do with it, it's the garbage OEMs who put out outdated OSes when they launch their mid ranged phones after which they never bother to release a single update. Even if they did they would be doing it like 1 year after the said version is out on the market.

Google should introduce serious measures to ban any OEM not confirming to methods to release quick updates to their phones. This will discourage all those rubbish UIs being released into the market that delays update rollouts. Many XDA roms have shown you don't even need to touch the overlays to introduce useful practical features.

Market differentiation should not be based on UI looks, it should be based on the features that are useful on their own without relying on fancy different looking UIs/Overlays.

        LOL, 30%!

And the headline about iOS 8 share claimed that adoption is slow because it was only at just over 50%! After less than a month out!

As to Kit Kat, I like it, but it was mostly bug fixes IMO.
