That's what I like about Sony. They are quite good in their committment when it comes to firmware updates. Aside from updating the device to the latest version of Android, they also update their custom-built apps unlike Samsung who only updates the device to the latest android version and ignore updates to their touchwiz apps

Nothing best in the update issue other than Apple as you have to wait for the Android till it come to your area and it might not come at all like my Galaxy Note 10.1 that didn't get any update for it since bought more than one year ago!!! If Apple roll out an update it will be for all at the same time.

Seems like a nice update, will download it as soon as possible. Interesting to see the sound enhancements and Hi-res audio thingy coming to the Z2 as well. All the more reason to buy a Z2 over the Z3 now, apart from it being like 150 euros cheaper.
However, the 4.4.4. update is released too late IMHO. Probably because of the issues of Xperia Z battery drainage, but what's the point of realeasing 4.4.4. now when Z2 owners are supposed to get Lollipop within 2 months from now? But ofcourse, it's nice to receive 4.4.4. now nonetheless.
