They won't compete with the 2014 Moto G, but with the 2013 Moto E/G. Plus, you seem to underestimate the value of "new" versus "last year". They should be a fine choice for the target demograph. Maybe not for you, surely not for me, but they do fill a fair niche, and should sell reasonably well.

Again, the lower of those is on the same ... morebut here we are not talking just in brazil...we are talking every where..and by the way motorola 2013 is way better than the more expensive of them,,,,better screebn and ppi..stock android provided good experience,.,,plus 5.0 android upgrade..im sure than any of them will perform betetr than 2013 moto g or will get an update..that is the fact so ...the choice is urs...

Again, the lower of those is on the same price bracket as the Moto E, and the more expensive of the duo is now at the same price as the 2013 Moto G (and will be cheaper when the price settles).
Also, margin means the manufacturers' profit on each unit sold, not the price point. All the taxes and etc make it impossible to sell a smartphone below ~$100 in Brazil.

Maybe because it's better to sell one low-e... morethe fact is that in this price pint...a moto g is better and it is midrange ..samsung and lg overprice products so these are not cheap at all and they are s..pid because insted of over pricing a phone that is not worth the money then atleast manufacture a decent mid range...in a 10 $ price point as u started it is ok.

Maybe because they already have a flagship device on the market?

famineboy, 05 Nov 2014Lol 480 x 800 screens, nice for third world markets, even so Brazil deserves better.Low res screen could be an advantage. I prefer them over weak batteries and lags.

I Don't understand why someone will choose these models if they can choose Moto E (BRL 450) and Moto G (around BRL 450 650). Both much better than they.

Would buy a revamped version of lg g2 ,same 1080p screen , but updated chipset and micro sd card slot , wish lg be more like samsung when it comes down to not leaving fine products abandoned
