People need to chill, devs do test software before releasing, but they cannot prepare for every contingency. Even after testing, bugs will surface due to millions of different configurations of users phones, different settings, different apps etc.

Are people really arguing about this?

I'd rather them take their time than release an equivalent to iOS 8.0.1.
I'd prefer to wait a couple more weeks.

This news doesn't have much to stand on, Forbes reported there was an embargo until 12th. So the November 3rd release data was a fabrication that never came from Google as it appears.

At least they're trying to remove all bugs from this major update, unlike Apple who was in a hurry realeasing iOS 8 and after 4 updates it's still buggy and laggy :)
