I think what would trully impress people would be a battery life that lasts for a much longer time than today's generation, while still having an adequately sharp screen.

I doubt that Note 5 will go for 6" screen. I've read one article saying that Note 5 comes with 5.9" screen. Note 6 most likely as the name implies.

are very greedy companies.
Now they will be forced to do a
6 inch phone display because they know that
Microsoft most definitely will have a flagship
6 inch Windows 10 phone by then.

I have been using my Note 4 for 3 weeks now and love it. if the Note 5 were to go to 6 inch and 4k resolution I will hold off upgrading. That is just overkill and will make for a bigger device that consumes lots of battery and heats up more. No thank you.

So look at it like this.. Linux = Android = iOS. So what would apple be without Linux?

There will be a different version for North American/European markets with lower range specifications. Samsung has stated they will keep the top of the line handsets for the Asian market only. Samsung has stated they do not think the North American/European consumers are ready for such high end handsets because they can not utilize all the functionality.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2014Bigger battery would make no difference with resolution like this. It will still last as much ... moreThe battery in current models last just fine. Endurance tests have shown this. With proper cpu/gpu governors, auto-brightness, deep sleep, and ultra power-saving mode, I don't see this resolution being an issue. Moderate to heavy use of real world usage should easily get you 13-15 hours w/ 3.5 - 4.5 hours screen on time. Light usage should yield 2+ days battery life.
BTW, no battery in any smartphone can last an entire day of "non-stop" usage. Non-stop? C'mon! That's insane!
