But back in 2012 it was not that good. my lg p725 didnot get its promised ics and jellybean update. also the stock gingerbread rom is buggy. and almost handful of dev support from xda.

LG's update history is TERRIBLE at best.G3 and G2 will both get Lollipop.LG G2 has another chance of updating as it has only been updated once to 4.4.2 from 4.2.2 .Every LG device will have at least 2 major firmware updates.Not sure about the Optimus G Pro but it has rumours concerning about the possibility of it getting Lollipop. Sometimes the updates may be a bit slower than others but you'll get it in the end unlike some other manufacturers *AHEM*
