As "newbies" bringing their own phones to market Microsoft and Samsung differ in Samsung already having a position in phones whereas Microsoft could buy itself one. But neither are known for carrying many apps. Samsung may do as Microsoft - subsidize each phone until it gets traction.

What good is a quad core Snapdragon 400 in a phone with nearly no apps. Tizen will flop just like Bada did, mark my words.

I support Samsung to flood the market. If supply bigger than demand, price will down. Supply > demand = good price.
Actualy it's like a turnament, companies making best specs with lower price, consumer is the winner.
