Fake ! I have u.s unlocked version and I never got it, and still don't got it,just don't got it . Its not for every moto g2 model that's what Motorola said in customer care chat and on phone smh "NOT ALL MODELS WILL RECIEVE THE UPDATE"

rajesh, 15 Nov 2014i have moto g 2gen, lollipop is not came in my mobile, its all fake .if you do get it you are considered gay !! because of its material design and colors . i heard u get to play a flaapy version of lollipop when upgraded which makes it even more gayer lol .just fire the people who considered this "update " to android.. smh

I pledge not to do it because you need to root your G, which is not a good idea at all. Instead you please wait for an another week. Many presume that it may start rolling by then.
