AnonD-147377, 12 Nov 2014Yes but it was not fake, because they activated maximum power of their CPUs in benchmarks, So ... moreI agree with that's no cheating.

btw Samsung is king of cheating benchmarks and I personally think he did it with note 4 as well.

Nvidia suing Samsung and Qualcomm because they can't compete with them in the mobile market. Now they're buttmad because Samsung is suing them. Nvidia is going to get wrecked by Samsung and Qualcomm in court.

Doesn't matter because the K1 won't be seen in cellphones anyway. It's only real use would be in a tablet with a larger battery.

So - in case NVidia has a case of having had IP stolen - isn't it commonly acknowledged law everywhere that the acquirer of stolen property isn't liable unless not in good faith?

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2014Didn't Samsung do the same thing in the past?Yes but it was not fake, because they activated maximum power of their CPUs in benchmarks, So NO they did not fake it.
And BTW they are several Kernels utilize this power.

Its not like they used DSLR camera and claimed its their phone camera like Nokia!
                http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HGrZDynHCw
                That is faking!

Finally Samsung is on the top of the Phones' list, NO more Nokia!

Tegra K1 is good indeed, but comes at a price of overheating. the Cpu is huge in size, and consumes a lot of energy. Exynos 5433 is actually slower than tegra k!, though not by that huge margin. True winner in Cpu world is apple A8X chip. It is with gigantic power, and 20nm chip

Exynos is the best chip in the market.
I tried Tegra in Motorola Atrix and LG Optimus tab, that was my worst experience ever with Tegra it lags like no tomorrow, Nvidia are the worst fake advertisers ever, they always claim their chip is the best but in real life it lags like tomorrow!

benchmarks are a load of crap anyway. you can test 6 mobiles all the same and get 6 different scores. its just marketing figures to sell phones. just dont be sucked by silly scores. i dont.

Example: i had an Galaxy S4, and it seemed very zippy, but having sad that my S5 seems to be slower in the menus. So how can a 1.6ghz quadcore, be faster than 2.5 ghz quadcore. there you have it.

Sammy stop crying, you ar... moreWell it really depends on how they cheated, samsung hiddenly activated the max performance profile while benchmarks were running, meaning the hardware is really capable of those benchmark results and the benchmark isn't showing a fake number.
