Not bad. It is faster. But I have a couple of quibbles: (1) To get to setting/unsetting airplane mode now requires additional swipe; (2) to erase non-current reminders/notifications it used to be easy -- the remove icon was right up top, now have to swipe a couple times to get to it; (3) and why were the notifications and settings [top] combined? 2 totally separate functions mushed together; (4) one thing I really dislike was Google taking over from my email app, which gave me a very handy combined In box for my several email addresses, and now I have to go through them individually, so counter-productive; AND the Google takeover should be offered as an option. So overall? Performance aspect nice. Nothing to shout about with a few icon updates -- window dressing. But PLEASE before making the above-mentioned changes do a better job of beta testing AND do not simply take over major functions (i.e., email) -- that should be a user-accepted alternative.

Clear cache of google service framework as mention before by johnm.... Worked 2nd time... Reboot into airplane mode and swicth on onlu wifi and check for update
... It works 100 %....
