nexus 5 will get OTA update for lollipop only after every mobile gets it..its a myth that nexus is the first one to get the update from google..i will never buy any nexus device..feel like throw my nexus 5 away..no update after 3 days..tried to clear cache and data in service framework.but no luck.

Today i just update android lollipop for my nexus 5 and it is really amazing just download OTA zip file and update your phone it is very simple your warranty will not void and it will not format you phone its simple now m enjoying

I have a rooted nexus5..build number KTU84Q .but i didnt get lollipop update..is it the problem with rooting..
Will continue to recieve ota updates even if my phone is rooted

Ppl who have rooted phones might have issues getting OTA, plus since it is a major update it is better to do a clean flash with the OTA image from Google.
So stop waiting around and get to flashing. Extremely easy to do it and doesn't void your warranty.

1 Download the correct OTA file as per your build number.
2 Download and install the latest Android SDK along with Nexus 5 drivers
Follow the simple steps given in website and you are done. Enjoy!!!
And No, your warranty will not void.
