listen guys no need to clear gsf u need.... go to flight mode then....
settings-apps-all-gsf. disable it.
then reboot (not restart) your nexus 5 with having activated wifi earlier.
when the phone starts it 'll show that gsf not working. press ok. (be sure that wifi is on before reboot) that enable gsf which will be in settings-apps-disabled apps(4th column).
there is the notification.
no need to clear gsf bcoz it can harm nexus.

Friends, be patient and don't upgrade to android lollipop if u r on KitKat 4.4.4 . Lollipop has a lot of bugs thus kindly wait for 5.0.1 or 5.1 what ever the next update it .
Lollipop wont taste that sweet otherwise :)
