Anonymous, 13 Nov 2014It's thin because it uses a small 2,250mah battery.Samsung galaxy alpha is almost DOUBLE the thickness and only has 1800 mAh ... Nevertheless it has quite acceptable battery Life. It all comes to SoC Power consumption and manufacturer optimizations

AnonD-80794, 13 Nov 2014You, genius, definitely doesn't know how to use a caliperDude if you measure a certain object do you measure it before the zero mark or at the zero mark? Kindly use ur brain please. No matter what kind of measuring device that you use if you will just to measure a certain thing you need to start at zero mark.. LOLZZ...
Peter, 13 Nov 2014can't read a caliper? In first picture it shows about 3.8 mm, not 4.8Overall body is 3.9mm.. The 4.75mm is measured at the camera bulge

Guys don't bother yourself.. look closely to the picture. the phone is being measured before the 0 mark in that measuring device. You guys are not thinking, LOL...
I'll use the next version to shave my beard
I like it as I like thinner phones...ohh but wait....I hate bigger phones...
Anonymous, 13 Nov 2014I'm guessing this will definitely "Bend". loll Not if its steel skeleton is properly designed.. Try bending a phone sized 1.5mm thickness steel plate with your bare hand.. Study engineering first and then talk.

In the second pictures show the same 3,xx not 4,xx

why dont use old Nokia 2.5mm jack? its not like you gonna get way better sound using microUSB or Apple lighting, its pure marketing. so why we dont move to smaller connector like 2.5mm mini jack?
Super thin totally anemic battery included! YAY! \o/

will buy this to smash on my head.
AnonD-330646, 13 Nov 2014Actually, according to both caliper photos, it is somewhere between 3.8 and 3.9mm thick. Just ... moreThe second caliper image could be read as 3.75mm, but is does not fit well with the claim of keeping the 3.5mm jack. So either that should have been 2.5mm, or something is faked somewhere...
I hope they don't screw it up with a protruding camera lens, it would be a total eye sore on such a thin device.
Look at the picture again - its 3,75 MM thick!
