Asus need to partner with qualcomm in 2015 otherwise they will utterly fail, it's as simple as that.
At first it sounded like a good deal when I bought the Zenfone 6 but after using it I realized the phone sucks in two ways...first is the extremely hot Intel Atom processor which will heat up very high if I used app like FB or even Wechat...I think I can boil water instantly if I drop it in water... then secondly my GPS won't work at all if I am in the car...I thought I was the only one but most people I knew is having the same issue....even after firmware update the GPS connection is super bad....good thing is...the O/S is very snappy but very buggy but at least Asus always release new firmware update that kinda solve the issue...why I say kinda is because the camera app will become very slow or even hang the phone if I took multiple picture and worse when on HDR mode...so Asus, how do you expect to beat Xiomi if your quality sucks and your price is high? Not to mention the after sales service is super bad....everyone will have to wait for ages to get claim from warranty when they are buying Asus smartphones or tablets!!! (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
Asus Zenfone disadvantages - (a) no or never add-on feature selection 'shortcut' menu from the three capacitance touchscreen below (b) pull down notifications and setup menu bar table is way occupied the whole screen and no custom setting to adjust it (prefer incoming and setup in one table menu) (c)...I will never buy any phone with a build in battery(Zenfone yes? )...lastly.. Expandable micro SD memory slot is a must.
Sony sells waterproof
Samsung sells amoled
LG sells features
Xiaomi sells miui and price
HTC sells front speakers
Nexus/moto sells rom
Oneplus sell cyanogenmod
Asus sells zen...wait a minute...what?
There is Chinese tablets for cheap money almost as good as their tablets. Recently I bought one for 75€ it ran 4.4 android,Intel atom inside,2gb of ddr3 ram, ips hd screen,8gb of internal memory(theres SD slot). So all these Samsung,Asus,Sony... Should fail as companies as there is no excuses for keeping the price tag high on their products with same specs. Look at Prestigio tablets very, very good price tag and high quality products.
They first should start updating mid and low range devices. Most of them gets dropped by Asus after just half a year of support. Only branded Padfone and Zenfone gets somehow slowly updated. Almost all Transformer and Memo Pads of 2013 left in 4.2 and 4.3.
I just wanna say, please just STOP spamming all the same type 1gb ram tablets... this is real noob man... stay focused on phones OMG
To be honest if Asus put a decent camera in there phones. Like Samsung do. they would sell millions, i have a Asus tablet the product is brill, quick no lag. plays latest games. And has nice screen. but the camera is shocking bland and colourless. Shame i like Asus tablets.
