I had a chat with moto agent and this is what they had to say "Motorola is excited to announce that android lollipop has released. We are woking hard to make it compatible with all our devices. It takes time to develop and test the software,but we are working hard to bring the update as soon as possible.
When i asked about the soak test for moto g 2nd gen.. Their reply was "soak test is still going in. We are waiting for results."

Nexus 5 users reporting a lot of problems for its lollipop update so moto is not in a hurry to give u a buggy update so keep calm guys n lets have a bug free update let moto solve the bugs....the more the wait the better the update

Now I am convinced that this delay is deliberate and is more of a business strategy then some technical issue. What #motorola wants is to hold back the 5.0 OTA update till the Nexus 6 is released in India. They want their flagship Nexus 6 to be the 1st Moto in india to have Lollipop.......Its kinda sad but cant complain as business strategy drives all decision making.....

Thamizhanda, 29 Nov 2014An friend over Motorola support center confirmed it...if there is no soak test why peoples are... moreYu r right bro..I just asked the same question to the executive "if there is no soak test y people receive participation mail" he said "soak tests have been stopped since it encountered some errors regarding hanging,auto restart,heating issues.." And "I am cent percent sure that there is no soak test for moto G 2"..
Just enquire yur friend whether it is soak test or OTA coz some users stated that the roll out may begin from 30th..

Officially confirmed by Motorola executive....An friend over Motorola support center confirmed it...if there is no soak test why peoples are receiving mail from MFN bro...I'll be very happy if it was without soak test as u said but I jus conveyed wat he said ....i posted it here since it ll be happy news for somebody who s expecting android L very eagerly as like me
